Full stars rating. We didn't book, walked straight in and had a fast attentive service thereafter. The food was really hot, sometimes a bit enjoyably hot at the start, as we were really hungry! but really tasty overall. My only criticism would be that the table was a bit sticky when we sat down... Overall a nice Saturday night meal out unplanned.

Great place, lovely food, GF option was AMAZING 👏 A little pricy but the Pizza was worth it. Though I'm not sure why it was £4 for lemonaide. A little crowded but was to be expected on a Saturday. Definitely recommend

What a difference a day makes!! Held our Christmas gathering at lunch time in a pretty empty restaurant- had to wait an hour for starters and then the mains came out about 5 minutes later. What a fiasco and they weren’t even apologetic 🤬 A couple of nights before we had good food, timely and friendly service - what a difference a day makes.

Obviously, don't let it bother you, but today was a friend of mines birthday; I thought, buying her lunch and having it delivered to her workplace would be a lovely idea. Due to various external factors, I ended up just buying her dessert - but when looking through the suggestions, we eyeballed Zizzi's menu as being one we believed would sufficiently quench the lusts for a wholesome dessert. Whatever you normally pay your menu writer, double it cos I will admit it, the dessert actually sounded like something you should pay £7.50 for without hesitation. When really, I've seen/tasted better in year 3's cooking classes. It really was a remarkable bit of propaganda. The thing that makes me most grievous, you suggested the dessert would be paired with salted caramel gelato - this dessert noticeably lacked this crucial component. In the ideal world, I would have slotted a candle in it - having a tasty yet festive gift to make the day a special one. Weirdly enough, this 3cm x 3cm dessert couldn't accommodate such extravagance. "Historically the worst birthday on record" was the words she used to describe the unfortunate events to the Evening Standard later that day. It just made me look like a fool. That's all. In the likely event of someone asking, i'm always available for a discussion about a discount on future orders. Which I suspect won't really be a discussion; you will just suggest 50% off my next order, and I'll agree and spend it on arancini balls instead. But hey, credit where credits due..least they pronounced her name right upon delivery.

Food fine, reasonably priced, service pretty good, though one of the waiting staff was wearing a Santa outfit that was probably sprayed on and , she should have checked in the mirror before going to work. Not the best look. Very noisy background, hard to hear people at own table

Been 3 times to this particular restaurant. Each time very slow service, even when quiet. Staff seem to wonder around aimlessly or chatting behind the bar with an obvious cant be bothered to be there attitude failing to observe if anyone needs anything (which happened on numerous occasions) Waited 45 minutes to get our mains, only had the complementary crisps at the start. Kids vedge sticks had been sat under the heat lamp so long they were completely dry and unedible. And the same for the strawberry fruit bowl! old rotten strawberries. By far the worst Zizzis we've been to. Will not be returning.

I always start with three stars and increase and decrease according to each aspect of service. Premises. 5/5. Beautifully laid out. Airy, spotless and great deco. Staff; 4/5. Attentive. Friendly. Knowledgable and helpful. Not top marks as my waiter consistently changed throughout my table time. Would be good if same one stated with customer. Toilets. 5/5. Spotless. Prices; 3/5. Not the most pricey and a decent lunch offer always available. Food and drinks. 2/5. Presentation was excellent but the bolognese was heavy, something easily remedied. Coconut ice cream I would not have again either. But, on the whole, a nice experience and I would revisit.

Booked for 15 people as our annual Christmas party , I never saw that narrow longest table in my life! , people were struggling to slide next to each other but most important thing is the manager was grumpy and didn’t want to help for this issue nicely , he kind of dragged one of table while moaning and being rude ! No more booking in there for parties !
